Santa Claus is coming to town.....

We were so surprised and excited when Santa came into school today, it was great. He brought us a treat, and we sang him a song.

Our Chirstmas Play!!

Our class along with Ms. Lally's have practiced so hard this term and have produced a wonderful play "The Bossy Christmas Fairy", here are some snaps of the children in character.

Our Christmas play "The Bossy Christmas Fairy" is on on December 19th at 12.25pm. We teamed up with Ms. Lally's class who are wonderful. We hope that you all can make it as it will be very enjoyable, lots of singing and dancing!! Everyone is welcome...

Bubblemagic!

Off to Bubblemagic!

We went to see Bubblemagic in the Galway Education Centre on Wednesday 19th. We learnt all about bubbles. They are 3-D in shape, and they change colour. We can even estimate when the bubble will burst. We discovered lots about bubbles, here are some of the things that we saw...

Blowing bubbles with a horn - look at the size of it!!

Now look at this one - Wow! The bigger the hoop the bigger the bubble, and this one was huge!

Now how did that bubble get in there??? Come on teachers BLOW...

He's got the whole bubble in his hands....How??

The balloon was filled with smoke, and it turned white. Can you see the smoke when he made a hole in it.

We even looked at a bubble blown using a square shape but look at the bubble, it is still the same shape as one from a circular shape. Why?? A balloon will take the smallest shape that it can so it will draw itself into a sphere shape.

We don't even need a loop to blow a bubble, we can use our fingers!!

Watch what is happening now, he used a cuboid and blew smoke into the middle section.

Renmore Teachers at the Protest

There was a great turnout for the protest on Saturday. And a big Thank you to those who attended to support us on this important cause. We were all wrapped up for the march as the weather was awful but that did not lessen the crowd. Lets hope it makes a difference!

Witches Walk

On Friday 24th October, the school went on a Witches Walk, we all dressed up and walked around Renmore. Everyone really enjoyed. Luckily the weather was good for us.
